If you are interested in joining any of the committees below, please email info@midtowngr.org for more information.

Neighborhood Improvement & Public Safety

This committee meets once a month (or more as needed) at 6:30pm on the third Wednesday of the month. This meeting focuses on listening to neighbor concerns around safety and repairs. We discuss everything from traffic calming studies to past police reports. This is the place to come to discuss how our neighborhood could become more beautiful or how we can improve safety.

Neighborhood Engagement & Community Leadership

This committee meets every other month on the second Thursday of the month, in a rotating location. Meetings focus on neighborhood events and engagement strategies. This group of neighbors can and should be diverse so that events can serve our neighborhood as a whole. This is the place where strategic planning for the year happens before it’s presented at a neighborhood board meeting.

Marketing

This committee meets on an as needed basis, typically four times a year. At this meeting you can plan to discuss communication needs for Midtown and drafting of newsletter content and other printing needs. This group is guided by budget given by the treasurer and works to achieve the most impactful communications with the neighborhood. Here is where we began discussion around things like launching this new website and beginning a physical, mailed newsletter.
