Get ready, Grand Rapids: the Midtown Reuben Throwdown returns for 2026, and it’s time to crown the city’s best Reuben!
From March 6–17, Midtown bars and restaurants will go head-to-head, each serving up their own unique take on the classic Reuben sandwich. Traditional, creative, over-the-top, or totally unexpected — every stop brings a new flavor to discover.
Here’s how it works:
• Visit participating Midtown locations
• Order their featured Reuben Throwdown entry
• Scan the QR code and vote for your favorite
• Support local businesses while enjoying amazing food
At the end of the Throwdown, one restaurant will take home the coveted Midtown Reuben Throwdown Trophy and ultimate bragging rights for the year.
