Volunteer Social Media/Communications Specialist Position 

Help Midtown Neighborhood Association strengthen our social media presence and give our website some improvements. In partnership with the Executive Director post and update event content for the months to come on the program website.

What You'll Work On

• A yearly calendar of events to promote through social media and organizational website 

• Developing and editing the organizational website content

• Developing a regular social media communication plan and helping draft templates 

Your Skills

• Digital Marketing • Social Media • Website Design

Qualifications:

• Current high school graduate, undergraduate, graduate college student, or graduate 

• 5-10 hours per week availability

• Able to commit to ONE virtual (e.g., Zoom) team meeting per week

• Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint a must


Your Experience

• Experience managing social media accounts for the organization

• Experience managing and updating the organizational website with content and redesign 

• Experience creating and populating social media content calendars

Your Availability

• Works remotely from anywhere

• 5-10 hours per week availability
